Service Description
This is a private and intimate tea gathering, offered in a quiet setting with only a small number of guests. Unlike many tea ceremony experiences that accommodate large groups, this gathering allows for a deeper connection between the host, the guests, and the tea room. A formal tea gathering, known as Chaji, is the most complete expression of the Japanese tea ceremony. Traditionally, it includes a meal, thick tea (koicha), and thin tea (usucha), and is conducted for a limited number of invited guests. This experience is offered in a carefully simplified form while preserving the essential spirit and flow of Chaji. In a traditional Chaji, the tea meal (chakaiseki) is handmade by the host. For this gathering, a seasonal bento prepared by a professional chef will be served, allowing guests to enjoy high-quality seasonal cuisine while maintaining the calm rhythm of the tea gathering. The heart of this experience lies in sharing time and space together. Through the concept of ichiza konryū, host and guests create a harmonious, respectful, and warm atmosphere within the tea room. This experience is designed for guests aged 20 and over who are physically able to sit on a tatami mat. It is ideal for those seeking a mindful, authentic, and personal encounter with Japanese tea culture. Attire: Smart Casual (Western attire acceptable) Please bring white socks. Cancellations Made 7 Days or More Before the Scheduled Session: - Cancellations made 7 days or more before the scheduled session will receive a full refund. 2. Cancellations Made Between 4 to 6 Days Before the Scheduled Session: - Cancellations made between 4 to 6 days before the scheduled session will receive a 50% refund. 3. Cancellations Made Within 3 Days of the Scheduled Session: - Cancellations made within 3 days of the scheduled session are non-refundable. **Rescheduling Policy** - Please note that we do not accept rescheduling requests.
