This course offers a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of Japanese tea ceremony. You will learn proper guest etiquette and experience preparing matcha following the Omotesenke tradition. ⚠ This course is designed to focus on guest manners and tea-making practice. It does not include extensive training in natural movements or deep philosophical aspects of wabi-sabi. ________________________________________ Who is This Course For? ✔ Beginners with no prior tea ceremony experience ✔ Those interested in learning formal guest etiquette ✔ Individuals eager to experience authentic matcha preparation ✔ Participants aged 15 and above ________________________________________ Course Details 📅 Sessions: 4 (Total 8 hours) 🕰️ Class Schedule: • Morning Session: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM • Afternoon Session: 1:30 PM – 3:30 PM 💴 Course Fee: 20,500 JPY (Includes Practice kit rental) 🎋 Practice Kit: Kaishi paper, folding fan, fukusa cloth 💡 Participants who already own these items may bring their own. ⚠ Food Restrictions: We are unable to accommodate food allergies or vegetarian diets. ________________________________________ Course Curriculum Session 1: Introduction to Guest Etiquette • Fundamental movements: bowing, walking, sitting, and handling a folding fan • Proper entrance and exit from the tea room • Guest Etiquette: o Waiting area, hand purification, alcove and utensil viewing o First charcoal procedure – Incense container viewing o Sweets: Dry sweets o Thin Tea Service Session 2: Guest Etiquette & Tea Preparation Basics • Guest Etiquette: o Sweets: Main sweets served in a tiered box o Thin Tea: Viewing both tea caddy and tea scoop • Tea Preparation Training: o Handling the fukusa cloth, rinsing and cleansing the tea whisk o Wrapping and preparing the tea cloth, setting up the tea bowl • Practical Tea-Making Session Session 3: Refining Movements & Self-Preparation • Guest Etiquette Review • Tea Preparation Training: o Wiping the tea bowl, handling sliding doors o Using the tea box • Thin Tea Preparation: o Standard Serving Style – Without utensil viewing o Self-Drinking – Participants drink the tea they prepare themselves Session 4: Final Practice & Review • Guest Etiquette Review • Thin Tea Preparation: o Standard Serving Style – With utensil viewing

Cancellations Made 7 Days or More Before the Scheduled Session: - Cancellations made 7 days or more before the scheduled session will receive a full refund. 2. Cancellations Made Between 4 to 6 Days Before the Scheduled Session: - Cancellations made between 4 to 6 days before the scheduled session will receive a 50% refund. 3. Cancellations Made Within 3 Days of the Scheduled Session: - Cancellations made within 3 days of the scheduled session are non-refundable. **Rescheduling Policy** - Please note that we do not accept rescheduling requests. If you are unable to attend your scheduled session, please refer to our cancellation policy. **No-Show Policy** - If you do not attend your scheduled session and have not contacted us to cancel, the ticket fee will be non-refundable. **Refund Process** - Refunds will be processed to the original method of payment within 7-10 business days after the cancellation has been confirmed. **How to Cancel** - To cancel your session, please email us at teaharmony862@gmail.com with your booking details.
